FAQ

Questions before you enquire?

These answers give you a starting point. Final food, service and equipment arrangements are confirmed specifically for your event.

How far in advance should I enquire?

As early as possible for a specific date. Availability will depend on the event size, menu and service required.

Is there a minimum guest number?

Minimums may vary by package and travel requirements. Send your guest count and we can confirm whether the menu is practical for your event.

Can menus be changed?

Yes. The published menus are starting packages. Final selections can be discussed around the event, guest mix and budget.

Can you cater dietary requirements?

Many requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Severe allergies require individual discussion before a booking is confirmed.

Do you cook everything on site?

Not necessarily. Many dishes are prepared ahead and safely transported, then finished, held, carved or grilled on site as appropriate.

Do you provide plates, cutlery and staff?

Staffing, crockery, glassware, linen and hire equipment can be quoted separately where required.

Can you cater a backyard event?

Yes. BBQ, grazing and shared-feast menus are particularly suitable. We will confirm access, power, shelter, cooking facilities and equipment needs before the event.

What areas do you service?

Wallan, Kilmore, Seymour and surrounding northern Victorian areas are the core focus. Other locations can be discussed.

What deposit and payment are required?

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your event date. The remaining 75% is due 7 days before the event. Any additional charges agreed on the day are invoiced separately. No payment is taken through the website enquiry form.

Can you help with tables, chairs or a gazebo?

Hire coordination can be discussed through suitable suppliers and quoted separately to the catering.
